Green Bean with sweet potato and jaggery 黄糖蕃薯绿豆汤

According to Oriental medicine, green beans with sweet, clear heat effect and good for detoxification. This green beans is also good for treatment the thermal skin diseases such as pimples, blisters, hives, people with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, chronic hepatitis, alcoholism and juvenile with mumps. During summer time, this dessert are good for nourishing, clear heat and detoxify the body.

Ingredients

  • 150 Grams Green Beans
  • 25 Grams Sago
  • 1 Sweet Potato
  • 200 Grams Jaggery Power
  • 8 pieces Pandan Leaf

Directions

Step 1: Rinse the green beans

 

 

Step 2: Rinse the Sago  (smallest size type)

 

Step 3: Cut into small cube of sweet potato.

 

Step 4: Rinse the Pandan leaves and tie it into knot.

 

Step 5: Ready for 200gram of Jaggery powder.

 

Step 6: Put in the green bean, pandan leaves and 2 liter of water into slow cooker for cook around 1 hours.

Step 7: After that, mix in the sweet potato, Sago and Jaggery powder into slow cooker for cook another 1 hours before ready to serve.
