Healthy American Ginseng Chicken Soup Recipes
Amerian Ginseng is believed to strengthen the immune system, boost energy, enhance brain function, reduce stress and promote relaxation. It could also help lower blood sugar for diabetes and lower cholesterol. No matter how busy I am, I will cook this soup once a week to help me and family to stimulate body energy system, this is the recipes pass down since my grand-grandma time which we still keep up this as healthy supplement.

Ingredients
- 200 grams of American Gingseng
- 1 table spoon Wolfberry
- 12 pieces of Red Dates
- 3 liters of Water
- 1 & 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 700 grams of Chicken
Directions
Step 1: Ready and rinse the 200 grams of American Gingseng.
Step 2: Ready and rinse 1 table spoons of wolfberry.
Step 3: Rinse the 12 pieces of red dates and cut into small pieces then remove the seed inside.
Step 4: Rinse the chicken and remove the chicken skin.
Step 5: Put in all the ingredients into 3 liters of boiling water and cook for 15 minutes. After that, reduce to low heat and cook for 5 hours. Finally add in some salt and serve in hot.
Tips: *** I personally prefer slow cooker, put in all ingredients then no need to take care the heat 🙂
