Chinese Vegetables Recipe-Sauteing Choy Sum with Prawn 清炒菜心虾仁
Choy sum is also known as Chinese Flowering Cabbage because this vegetables have yellow flowers together with the vegetables. In Mandarin, it called “Cai Xin-菜心” while in Cantonese, it called as Yow Choy Sum. Normally, this vegetable will just simple sauteing method with oyster sauce but this time I choose to cook with prawn meat which extracting the fresh sweetness of it because oyster nor prawn are seafood “鲜味”. It will improve the aroma of the vegetables and if you have yet to savor, lets try this Chinese vegetables recipe!

Ingredients
- 200 Grams Choy Sum
- 2 Gloves Garlic
- 100 gram Prawn Meat
- 4 Table Spoons Oil
- 1/4 Cups Water
Directions
Step 1: Rinse and cut the Choy Sum into 3 inch size. Separate the stem and leaves.
Step 2: Slice the 2 gloves of garlic.
Step 3: Peel off the shell of the prawn and rinse it.
Step 4: Ready a wok/ pan and heating 2 table spoons of oil. Firstly, put in the garlic then follow by prawn meat, add in one tea spoons of salt for stir frying about 1 minutes. After that, mix in the Choy Sum for continue sauteing around 2 minutes. Then pour in 1/4 cup of water for continue cook around 2 minutes. Then ready to serve on plate.
